If you guys haven’t noticed a trend here…I LOVE sneakers. I love dressing them up, I love dressing them down, I just love being comfortable always. After spending the last week in NYC for fashion week, I suffered the cobblestone streets in heels way too many times and was ready to throw on my Everlane Tread sneakers and call it a day. Everlane just came out with a whole color refresh for their popular Tread sneaker and I stocked up on some of the new colors! I opted for the classic white as well as the “sand” color, which is more of a pinky-nude. I also picked up a pair of their cashmere sweatpants, a super soft pink sweatshirt and a little boxy pocket tee from that I thought would be the perfect airplane outfit to wear on my flight home.
The Tread trainer is a more sustainable leather sneaker. They’ve drastically reduced the amount of plastic in the soles, reduced the electricity, water, and emissions required to produce the shoe/leather compared to other leather shoes. They even created laces and linings made of recycled plastics!! Everlane also partners with companies and give back in order to offset the emissions and be carbon neutral. That’s a shoe I can get behind!
If you aren’t familiar with Everlane already – they are a pretty cool company to support. They are committed to making a difference in the industry and source all of their fabrics and materials that they produce in ethical factories only. Their website is completely transparent about exactly where their products are made, what they are made of, and you can even click a link to see the factory.
Thank you Everlane for sponsoring today’s post! PS you can shop everything you see me wearing in these photos down below.
